Email Virus Scanning
If
a user should receive a message containing a virus, they are simply sent
a generic notification and the message is placed in a quarantine area
for inspection later. A virus can spread via e-mail messages extremely quickly. In May 2000, a virus called "Loveletter" spread to thousands of users world-wide in a matter of hours. E-mail borne viruses are becoming an increasing problem and in 2001 Industry sources predict a rise by 234% of virus interceptions and email use to grow by 124%.
The service is supplied at excellent value for money and once installed on a domain name, all messages sent to that domain are protected. For example, if you purchase virus scanning on myname.com then any e-mail address @myname.com will be protected, e.g.: John@myname.com or Alex@myname.com.
